What is LynxLegions?

LynxLegions was started in 2020 as a means to sell my chainmail during the whole shutdown thing, with hopes of moving it into a video-focused property when time and situation allowed.

It allowed.

While this post could easily devolve into pages of me gushing over inspirations - let's keep this efficient.

Growing up filmmaking was this impossible to achieve dream. The opportunities that technological advances has given has made storytelling and entertainment feasible for anyone with a cell phone...most lack the information of what is available to them and how to gain the most valuable resource of all - a supportive community.

I hope to expand what this industry can do. YouTube has changed the creative landscape in a way not seen since the first Talkies and the more people who can have their creative talents and voice heard the greater everyone's collected inspiration can be. I hope to work with those I respect, surround myself with those smarter than me, and create a structure to gather more talent and pay them enough to be comfortable. Ideally, programs can be put in place to supply resources to those starting out and give platforms to those who have noticeable potential in a non-predatory contract that can act as a springboard for them to join the LynxLegions or have left their mark on it before taking their talents to those who resonate with them better and can provide a better environment for them.

I would love to see this grow and be seen as a positive influence. It would be disingenuous to imply that I wouldn't want skilled and clever people to join our team The priority is simply to make it clear that even if they don't care for me or my own work - there will still be knowledge made available through us.

Our first project is a dark-comedy set in a sci-fi environment that may resonate with those in the Appalachian mountain range. It is called Hayseed and may it live up to what we have dreamed.

Morning Frustration

In a haze, I look out over the hills The mists of morning combine with mental fog It dims not my vision, but my sense of self I have seen...
